Proof of delivery and parcel control

You decide what proof drivers collect: the app asks for it before a stop can be marked. Set it once for the whole team, change it for a single stop when needed, and review every photo and signature on the website.

Proof of delivery for the whole team

  1. Open Team and find Proof of delivery.
  2. For each type of stop, choose what the driver captures when it succeeds (Delivered, Picked up, Visited) and when it fails (Not delivered, Not picked up, Not visited).
  3. Pick any combination of Photo, Signature, Barcode/QR, ID check and Text note, or nothing at all. Changes save straight away.

The owner and dispatchers can change these settings. Drivers see them in the app and can't change them.

Proof of delivery for a single stop

Some stops need something different, such as a signature for a valuable parcel or an ID check for age-restricted goods. Open the stop's details in the route builder and choose under Proof of delivery:

As team

Not required
No proof at this stop.
Custom
Pick the fields for this stop, for when it's done and when it fails.

A stop with its own setting is marked on its card, in the builder and on the route page. A column in your file sets it too: headers like Signature required or Age verification with Yes, or field names such as photo+signature; several such columns in one row are combined.

Parcel control

Parcel control checks that the right parcel goes to the right stop, using the parcel code on each stop. Turn on Scan parcels, then choose when drivers scan:

When loading
A checklist before the driver leaves: every parcel of the route is scanned into the vehicle.
At the door
The driver scans the parcel before marking the stop delivered.
If the code doesn't match
Warn: the driver can still hand it over, and the mismatch is recorded as proof. Block: the stop can't be marked delivered until the right parcel is scanned.

Only delivery stops take part: pickups are collected, not handed over.

Review proofs of delivery

Open a route and click Proofs, or choose Whole day: proofs of delivery in Routes to see the whole day. Each proof shows the stop, the time, the photos and the signature, the scanned code, the ID check, the note and the parcel check, and where the phone was when the stop was marked. Click a photo to open it full size.

Photos taken without a signal upload when the phone is back online; until then the proof says how many are still on the way. Proofs are kept with their route for 60 days after its last change.
