Who it's for

For local businesses that deliver with their own drivers and vans: up to 15 drivers, on multi-drop rounds or multi-stop routes.

  • Same-day and local couriers

Multi-drop runs across town, with every parcel checked when loading and at the door.

  • Pharmacies

Prescription deliveries with a signature or an ID check at the door, and proof for every stop.

  • Florists

A delivery window for every order and a photo at the door as proof.

  • Bakeries and food wholesalers

Early-morning rounds to cafés, shops and restaurants — duplicate the route and reuse it the next day.

  • School meals and catering

Deliveries that must arrive before lunch, with a signature on delivery and view-only drivers who keep to the planned order.

  • Laundries and dry cleaners

Pickups and drop-offs on the same route, with a time window for each customer.

  • Auto parts suppliers

Runs from the depot to garages and workshops, with routes you can still change after the driver has left.

  • Shops with their own delivery

Upload the day's orders from a CSV or Excel file and send each driver their route.

How it works

From a list of addresses to live routes on your drivers' phones — in four steps.

  1. Add the stops

Upload a CSV or Excel file, paste a list from a spreadsheet, search for an address or a place, or click the map. Columns for the recipient, phone, notes, parcel codes, delivery windows and proof of delivery are picked up automatically.

    • CSV, Excel (XLSX, XLS) or JSON — up to 200 stops per route
    • Addresses we can't place with confidence are flagged, so you can fix or keep them before planning

Guide: create a route and add stops

Stops imported from a file in the route builder, with one address that wasn't found Fixing an address that wasn't found: the right street appears as you type
  2. Optimize with delivery windows

Set the depot, the start time and the minutes per stop, then optimize. Every stop gets an arrival time along real roads, and stops that would miss their window are flagged in red. Prefer your own order? Drag the stops and keep it.

    • Delivery, pickup and visit stops — and several parcels for one address grouped into one stop
    • Changes save automatically, there's no Save button

    Guide: optimize with delivery windows

An optimized route with arrival times for every stop, on real roads on the map
  3. Assign a driver

Choose the driver, and the route appears in their app straight away, with a notification. Not sure yet? Keep the route without a driver and assign it later, or duplicate it for another day.

    • Choose the proof of delivery each stop needs: photo, signature, barcode, ID check or a note
    • Edit the route even after the driver has started — stops they have already marked stay locked

Guide: assign a driver and follow the day

Choosing who drives the route — they see it in the app right away A stop's details with its own proof of delivery: signature required
  4. Follow the day live

Routes shows every route of the day — new, in progress or finished — with progress that updates as drivers mark their stops. Open a route to see updated arrival times, when and where each stop was marked, the activity log and every proof of delivery.

    • Up to 10 routes on one map on a computer
    • Photos, signatures, barcodes and ID checks in Proofs — for one route or the whole day

What your drivers get

Your drivers use Route Planner for Couriers, our app for iPhone and Android — in their own language, with 28 to choose from.

  • The driver's app: an optimized route on the map with the stop list

    Their route, ready to go

Stops in order with arrival times, on a map and in a list — updated as soon as you change the route.

  • Choosing Google Maps or Waze for navigation to the next stop

    Turn-by-turn navigation

Each stop opens in Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps with the exact location.

  • Proof of delivery with a photo, a signature, a scanned barcode and an ID check

    Proof of delivery

The proof you ask for — photo, signature, barcode, ID check or a note — saved with the time and place.

  • Scanning the address on a parcel label with the phone camera

    Label scan

Point the camera at a parcel label to add a stop in seconds.

Notified about every change. Drivers get a notification when you send them a route, change it or take it off their list.

Works with weak signal. Completed stops and proofs of delivery are saved on the phone and sync when the connection is back.

Joining takes a minute. Drivers install the app from the App Store or Google Play and join your team with your invite link, QR code or team code.

View-only drivers. Mark a driver as view-only, and they follow the route exactly as planned without changing the stops.

Pricing

One price for the whole team

Standard plans are priced per team, not per person or per stop.

  • Everyone in the team is a member — the owner, dispatchers and drivers: up to 5, 10 or 15 people, depending on the package
  • Any member can be a dispatcher, at no extra cost — the owner gives the role on the Team page
  • The driver app is free — your team doesn't pay for it
  • No per-stop fees: up to 10,800 stops a month with 5 members, 22,500 with 10, 40,500 with 15

All packages include every feature except automatic splitting into routes, which comes with the packages for 10 and 15 team members; they also differ in team size and monthly limits.

Frequently asked questions

How does the pilot work?

Request access with your company name, country and work email. We review requests within 3–5 business days and email you an invitation to create your team. Pilot partners get a longer free trial and a founding-partner price, and you see your terms on the Subscription page before you pay anything.

Can it split stops between drivers automatically?

Yes, on the packages for 10 and 15 team members. Load the day’s stops, click Split into routes, tick the members who drive today (by default, everyone active) and, if you like, a maximum number of stops per route. Route Planner Teams divides the stops into that many balanced routes from your depot — with the start time, delivery windows and minutes per stop you set — finds the best order for each and sends every route to its driver right away. You can still move a stop to another route or change the driver. On the package for 5 members you decide which stops each driver gets, for example by area or postcode.

Which files can I upload?

CSV, Excel (XLSX, XLS) and JSON. Columns for the address — in one column, or split into street, city and postcode or ZIP code — recipient, phone, notes, parcel code, delivery window, coordinates and proof of delivery (for example “Signature required” or “Age verification”) are detected automatically. You can also paste addresses, one per line, or rows copied from Excel or Google Sheets.

How do delivery time windows work?

Give a stop a window — in your file or in the stop's details — and the optimizer plans the order around it. Every stop gets an arrival time, and stops that would miss their window are marked late in red, so you can change the order, the start time or the window.

Can I change a route after the driver has started it?

Yes. Stops the driver hasn't reached yet can still be added, removed, reordered or edited, and the changes appear in their app right away. Stops already marked are locked. Until the driver starts, you can also hand the route to another driver or delete it.

Can I choose what proof of delivery drivers collect?

Yes. On the Team page you set what drivers capture for each type of stop, both when it's done and when it fails: photo, signature, barcode or QR code, ID check or a note. You can change it for a single stop in the route or with a column in your file. Parcel control can also check each parcel's code when loading and at the door.

Can I export routes and proofs?

Yes. On the website, export one route or the whole day to Excel, CSV, a printable PDF route sheet or GPX. Each stop comes with its status, when it was marked, the reason for a failed delivery and which proof was collected — photo, signature, barcode, ID check or note. The photos and signatures themselves are in Proofs, for one route or the whole day.

Can I see where my drivers are?

Yes, while they're on a team route. From the moment a driver starts a team route until they finish it, the map on the website shows where they are now — only their latest position, updated about every 30–60 seconds while they're moving, with no history of where they've been. You also see each route's progress and updated arrival times, and for every marked stop, when it was marked and where the phone was at that moment. Drivers' personal routes are never shared with the team.

Do recipients get SMS or tracking links?

No. Route Planner Teams doesn't send texts, emails or tracking links to recipients. On the website you see each route's progress and updated arrival times, so you can tell a customer when to expect their delivery.

Do my drivers pay for the app?

No. Route Planner for Couriers is free to download, and while a driver is in your team, their team routes, optimization, label scans and proof of delivery are covered by your team's plan.

Is there a free plan for teams?

No. Route Planner Teams is paid per team: standard plans start with a 5-day free trial, and companies approved for the pilot get a longer one. The driver app is free for your drivers. Delivering on your own? Route Planner for Couriers has a free plan for short routes.

How does the free trial work?

Standard plans start with a 5-day free trial, and pilot partners get a longer one. Add a card to start the trial — you won't be charged if you cancel before it ends. After the trial, the plan renews monthly until you cancel.

Can I change packages later?

Yes. The team owner switches packages on the Subscription page at any time. Moving to a larger package is charged pro rata for the rest of the month; moving to a smaller one takes effect at the next payment, once the team fits the new limit — for example, up to 5 members, including the owner, on the smallest package.

Who counts as a team member, and how do dispatchers get in?

Everyone in the team counts towards the package limit — the owner, dispatchers and drivers alike. Everyone joins the same way, with your invite link or team code, in the app or on the website. On the Team page you see the whole list with each person’s role and a counter such as “Members · 4 of 5”; the owner can make any member a dispatcher with Make dispatcher, and take the role away again. There is no separate limit on dispatchers, and any member — including the owner and dispatchers — can be given routes to drive.

Can I pay by invoice?

Yes, by arrangement. Payment is by card by default; if your organisation pays by bank transfer, tell us when we reply to your request or write to support@courierrouteplanner.com. Once payment by invoice is switched on for your team, choose Pay by bank transfer on the Subscription page: Paddle, our reseller, emails you an invoice to pay within 30 days, and your team is active right away.

What happens to routes when someone leaves the team?

Their team routes — including one in progress, with its proofs of delivery — return to the team owner. Their personal routes stay with them.
